Pumpkin Patch and Carving Pumpkins
Yesterday we headed to the pumpkin patch for some family fun. We rode a little train, did a kiddie maze, played on the playground, and picked out pumpkins. The below pictures are in the opposite order of the how the events happened (sorry, I uploaded them wrong).

Say cheese!!!
Grayson picked out a dragon for daddy to carve.
Grayson wasn't really excited about carving the pumpkins and getting his hands messy.
Kaitlyn loves rolling over on her belly and this time she took the blanket with her.

A friend of ours in Bel Air is trying to start a photography business and asked if she could take pictures of our family for free so she can start her portfolio. Well I wasn't going to say no to free pictures!! They are wonderful pictures and we couldn't have been at a more beautiful place or picked a more beautiful fall day. Below are a few of the shots that she got. Enjoy!!

I'm been getting grief for not updating the blog so here are several pictures taken over the last month. We haven't done a whole lot in the past month, just enjoying what was left of summer. We did make a trip to Richmond a couple of weekends ago to celebrate our Godson Benjamin's 2nd birthday. It was baseball themed and so much fun for us and Grayson.

Baptism, Grandparents, Aquarium, and cousin's from Kansas
What a busy month we have had and I have lots of pictures to show off. A few weekends ago, Kaitlyn was baptized at our old church in Richmond. All of our wonderful friends and Shane's parents came for the special day. Shane's parents then stayed the rest of the week to visit and hang out with the kids. While they were here, we visited the Baltimore National aquarium. We saw lots of fish, sting rays, turtles, sharks and even Nemo (at least thats what Grayson thought)!!! There are also a couple of pictures of Grayson at his swim party this past week. He absolutely loved the slide and diving board and we found that his swim lessons are paying off. He had to wear a life jacket of course, but had no problem swimming to the ladder all by himself after each jump. Finally, just this past weekend we made a trip near the Newport News, VA area to visit our nieces and nephew from Kansas who were visiting their grandparents (my brother-in-laws family). We had a wonderful time with them and can't wait to see them again at Christmas (Grayson especially can't wait). They were all big helpers when it came to taking care of Kaitlyn.

Miss Deborah and the kids. She just loves spoiling them (and us)!!

4th of July in West Virginia
For the 4th of July, Shane's boss invited everyone from his lab and their families to stay at his parents house which is basically across the street from the Greenbrier resort in West Virginia. It was absolutely beautiful!!! It was a nice long weekend full of different activities. Shane and other lab members went Whitewater rafting Friday and had a great time (see picture below...he is the 3rd one on the right side of the boat). The picture underneath that, is of everyone watching the whitewater rafting DVD in the home theater of the house we stayed yet. Other pictures are from swimming at the resort, golf ball treasure hunt, watching fireworks and other fun pics from the weekend.
