Christmas in Kansas and Grayson's 4th birthday

What a month we've had!!! We had our trip back to Kansas for Christmas and were able to see so many people. We left on the 23rd and didn't get back home until the 3rd, moving non stop the entire time. When we got home, Grayson was sick and then Kaitlyn got it a week later. They both eventually recovered but it was a long couple of weeks. Kaitlyn also has about 3 teeth trying to pop out so she has been a little grumpier then usual but still as cute as can be!! Finally, Grayson celebrated his 4th birthday party yesterday and what a day it was. It was originally supposed to be at a local gymnastic club but b/c it snowed all afternoon Saturday(was only 5-6 inches) , the gymnastic place "strongly urged" us to cancel his party. I was not going to let my little boy not have a birthday party so we moved it to Chuck E Cheese which is basically across the street from our house. Most of the kids attending live in the same area we do so it was no problem for them to come. In the end, Grayson really didn't care and it all worked out. Today is his actual birthday so when we got up, Daddy made him a big breakfast and then he opened all of his presents and had a fun day playing with his new toys. Below are pictures beginning with the plane ride all the way to this evening. Enjoy!!

Here are some pics of our fun winter weekend here in Bel Air. We got around 19 inches of snow and Grayson absolutely loves the snow!! The kids also opened their Christmas gifts and below are some pics from that. What a fun weekend!!

We didn't have a sled so Daddy pulled him in the laundry basket.

Merry Christmas!

Wanted to do a quick update before we left for our big trip back to Kansas next week. Tonight we went to see Santa at the mall and it was so much fun. The picture turned out so cute!! Unfortunately, I can't post it but we did take some snap shots before we left for the mall and they turned out pretty cute (see below). Merry Christmas to all and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!

Kaitlyn is almost sitting up. She has to do it tripod style but she's starting to get the hang of it!

I love this picture...I wonder how much longer they'll continue to play so nice together?

Halloween!

For Halloween we took a road trip to Poquoson, VA (near Virginia Beach) to hang out with Brent and Sherrie for Sherrie's 30th birthday. We had a great time even though Grayson ended up with a fever most of the weekend.

Grayson is sitting in a wheel barrow waiting for Brent to come and push him some more.

Look how sweet I am!!

Pumpkin Patch and Carving Pumpkins

Yesterday we headed to the pumpkin patch for some family fun. We rode a little train, did a kiddie maze, played on the playground, and picked out pumpkins. The below pictures are in the opposite order of the how the events happened (sorry, I uploaded them wrong).
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Kaitlyn says this pumpkin tastes good!!!

Say cheese!!!

Grayson picked out a dragon for daddy to carve.

Grayson wasn't really excited about carving the pumpkins and getting his hands messy.

Kaitlyn loves rolling over on her belly and this time she took the blanket with her.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm....carrots!!

Kaitlyn rolling around on the floor. She found her feet and loves to grab them.

After sunday school, church, lunch and then the pumpkin patch, Grayson passed out on the couch when we got home. He was so tired, he kind of fell of the couch and didn't wake up!

A friend of ours in Bel Air is trying to start a photography business and asked if she could take pictures of our family for free so she can start her portfolio. Well I wasn't going to say no to free pictures!! They are wonderful pictures and we couldn't have been at a more beautiful place or picked a more beautiful fall day. Below are a few of the shots that she got. Enjoy!!
